The anticipated start date is September 1, 2023. The Hospital for Sick Children (Sick Kids), a teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Toronto, is a world-renowned leader in health care, research, and teaching. Sick Kids is a tertiary care, world-renowned facility which was recognized recently by Newsweek as the No.1 pediatric hospital in the World ( /worlds-best-specialized-hospitals-2022/pediatrics ). Sick Kids is committed to providing excellence in care with a highly qualified, interdisciplinary, hospital-based medical staff. The Hospital has approximately 340 beds and performs approximately 130,000 imaging studies per year. The newly created Division will cover the urgent and emergent imaging examinations in the department overnight. The ideal candidate must have M. D. or equivalent, be board-certified in radiology and have fellowship and clinical experience in pediatric radiology, including emergency pediatric radiology. Experience in neuroradiology will be an asset. The successful candidates should have a good academic track record and qualify for an appointment at the level of Assistant Professor or above at the Department of Medical Imaging at the University of Toronto and should be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
