Responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant will include: Assisting with co-ordination and preparation of monthly management accounts and related analysis in accordance with reporting deadlines. Assisting with consolidation of UK and overseas subsidiary reporting. Assisting with preparation of group reporting requirements to our parent company. Preparing and reviewing regular balance sheet journals and transactions. Preparing and maintaining balance sheet account reconciliations. Being the main point of contact for payroll and relevant monthly reconciliations Working with the Treasury manager to ensure all FX transactions correctly recorded in ledgers Providing governance over Fixed asset transaction processing and supporting month end fixed asset reporting Responsibility for consolidation of weekly cashflow forecasting and submission to group. Providing assistance and information to external auditors and other professional advisors as required. You must have: Experience of working in a finance team and studying toward an accountancy qualification A positive, proactive and have a " can-do" attitude The ability to work independently and prioritise a varied workload; working to a schedule and tight deadlines. The ability to work as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Good level of Excel knowledge and Access would be an advantage. The other benefits we will offer you include: Extensive.
