Plasman Greer Manufacturing is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as: Assembly Operator Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Good written and verbal communication, time management, team problem solving, and computer skills Great team player Quality related training / certifications a plus Ability to build / maintain positive customers' relationships. Responsible to meet process, quality and time requirements of each operation Must be able to learn and perform all operations in the assembly department within the allotted time and quality standards for each operation Responsible for 5S (housekeeping), minor rework, minor equipment maintenance and adjustments, and control of non-conforming material Comply with Quality, Environmental, Company Rules, and Safety Rules Understand the descriptions, quality, and time requirements identified in the work instructions of each operation on which they are trained Comply with Quality, Environmental and Material Management System requirements. Communicate all quality, safety and customer satisfaction issues in a timely manner Be an active participant in all company related safety programs Exceed production deadline demands Perform all tasks as assigned MINIMUM EDUCATION /EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1- 3 year work experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive.
