Position Summary: Perform a wide variety of duties to assemble and function:test manipulators and other products involving close tolerances. Rotate through all areas of assembly as required by shop production workload. Work toward building additional skills in various assembly areas to increase proficiency and flexibility.This position is located in Red Wing, MN. Key Job Responsibilitiesincluded but not limited to: Assembly I :Assemble assigned jobs at designated workstation:Work from blueprints to assemble and test completed assemblies within allotted time frame as indicated on Production Control Board:Test completed assemblies to insure conformance with assembly area:specific performance test specifications:Investigate and correct any problems noted:Confer with Inspectors as needed on questions regarding part or operation quality:Rotate between manipulator assembly and plastics assembly:Consistently meet allotted assembly timesAssembly II :All Assembly I duties listed above:Proficiently assemble, test repair and crate Manipulator models GLD, GLDC, GHDE, and G and GHD with Variable Z option:Test completed assemblies to insure conformance with assembly area:specific performance test specifications:Rotate between manipulator assembly, plastics assembly and transfer assembly areas:Basic leak test certificationAssembly III :All assembly I and II duties listed above:Proficient in assembling, testing and repairing Manipulator models E, EHD, 7, R, 8, F and Versa with Variable Z option:Assemble, test and repair manipulator electrical packages within allotted production board or route sheet timeframes accurately:Proficient in transfer assembly and advanced Leak test certification Leadership Competenciesaligned with Dover and executed in DESTACO with appropriate expectations for the job level: :Safety : Understands safe operation of equipment, tools and PPE. Recognizes potential for dangerous situations; uses safe work practices. Utilizes behavior based safety methods to sustain a safe working environment.:Ethics and Work Standards : Maintain the highest ethical and work standards, while promoting the same attributes in co:workers and others.:Communication : Expresses thoughts clearly, both orally and in writing, using good grammar.
