COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Belfast, Ballymena, Londonderry, Derry, Craigavon, Newry, Newtownabbey, Lisburn, Strabane, Armagh, Bangor, Dublin JOB DESCRIPTION: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager : Specialist Machinery, Food As the Area Sales Manager you will be home based and responsible for covering the whole of Ireland working closely with the Managing Director and the existing salesperson who is currently covering Ireland from England. The order values range from A GBP 35,000 to over A GBP 1 million and there will be no set target in your first year, giving you time to settle into your new role and build momentum. Your main responsibilities will be: A Account management (30) and new business development (70) in Ireland A Selling specialist packaging equipment primarily into the food industry (70) and non: food markets (30) and there is no set target in the first year. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager : Specialist Machinery, Food As the Area Sales Manager you will be committed to new business development and managing existing accounts in Ireland. You will be: A An experienced industrial, technical, or engineering field salesperson and will ideally have some experience working within or for a company selling to the food processing industry.
