(Triton) is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join a well-established team of environmental professionals to fill the position of Aquatics Field Biologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading field programs and providing technical support to project managers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leading aquatic and/or terrestrial field programs Supervising and training junior field staff Providing technical leadership within a team environment Liaising with on-site client representatives and contractors Data collection, compilation, and reporting Working collaboratively within Triton corporate culture Must be able to travel and work remotely for durations of up to 3 weeks at a time. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS B. Sc. or M. Sc. in biology or related field P Biol. or eligibility for registration with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists or equivalent professional designation, dependent on location of home office Minimum of five years of relevant experience Technical knowledge in aquatics and/or terrestrial biology Extensive field experience leading aquatic and/or terrestrial programs Significant experience with environmental monitoring and/or environmental inspection Multi-jurisdictional.
