Duties : The Help Desk is the single-point-of-contact for requests from all FCB employees regarding Information Technology issues. The primary goal of the Help Desk is to ensure staff are able to accomplish business tasks. Help Desk staff respond toinquiries and requests for assistance from employees involving IT and facility related issues including software, hardware and network. Responsibilities include documenting, prioritizing, resolving issues, ensuring issues are resolved to the total satisfaction of the requester, and assisting IT staff with software installs, updates, and rollouts as needed. Qualifications : Associate's Degree in a computer related field of study or one year's experience providing customer support Excellent customer service skills Excellent computer skills Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve PC related problems Demonstrated knowledge of standard off-the-shelf software Understanding of standard LAN and WAN infrastructure and processes Demonstrate analytical and problem solving abilities Ability to work on computer for extended periods of time Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals Certifications, training or experience in PC and or software troubleshooting desired Certifications, training or experience in providing Service Desk support desired.
