The Appliance Repair Apprentice is responsible for assisting and learning the repair of residential household appliances such as refrigerators, ovens, cooktops, dishwashers and more. We are looking for driven and self-motivated individuals seeking a trade they can grow into a career. The right candidate will be mechanically and technically inclined and possesses the interpersonal skills to thrive in this customer service focused position. To the right Appliance Repair Technician, we offer: --- Consistent work --- Company vehicle and tablet --- Paid training --- Administrative support and helpful management/technical assistance as necessary --- Highly competitive career Path Requirements The position consists of learning in the classroom along with 2 months of in the field training with one of our senior technicians. Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you would be place on the schedule as a full-time junior Appliance Technician. Compensation: Upon completion of training each apprentice will graduate to a Junior Appliance Repair Technician and is paid twice a month, earning an average of $1000-$2000 per week. Compensation: $1,000.00 - $2,000.00 per week As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words, you'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work. You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too. Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
