Apollo Health and Social Care Mentor 37 hours per week, Fixed term until 30 June 2025 £34,912 per annum We have a fantastic new opportunity to join our college as a Health and Social Care Mentor. The Health and Social Care Mentor is a fixed term post until June 2025 and will be part of the Apollo project, operating as an integral component for supporting learners in a capacity by offering practical clinical and non-clinical support to help them become independent, professional and ready to be an effective employee in the health and social care sector. The successful candidate will have experience in the field, be flexible and can work towards organisational objectives. They will have an approachable personality and can build a supportive, professional relationship with the learners, colleagues and employers alike. Closing date: Midnight on Monday 4 December 2023 As a College we are required to undertake various Safer Recruitment checks as set out within the guidance from the Department for Education Keeping Child Safe in Education. We require all staff to undertake an enhanced Adult and Child Workforce DBS Check and to register with the DBS Update Service. Please note: From 28 November 2020 the government implemented changes to the filtering rules, and we have been instructed that we cannot accept any update service checks on DBS certificates that have been issued before this date.
