Our services include Mission Engineering, System Engineering and DT&E in such development phases as: planning, execution, and assessment of Developmental or Operational Test & Evaluation; technology evaluation and prioritization; and operational and system model views. JHNA offers highly competitive benefit packages and a culture that fosters teamwork and collaboration all while supporting the Warfighter!Locations: US - AL, Huntsville, US - MD, Patuxent River US - VA, Dahlgren US - VA, King GeorgeRoles/Responsibilities:•Will be responsible for assessing the degree to which the identified systems operations and technical requirements are being met and where improvements for modernization may be applied for the next generation of missile defense systems•Will be responsible for the various Sea-based Weapons Systems Program Offices to assess the complete Fleet based mission Defense capability•Will be responsible to the Chief Engineers and Chief system Engineer to assess and identify gaps in current base line technical and operational capabilities as well as identifying areas for potential modernization of existing baseline•Will be required to resolve complex technical issues as well as provide potential solutions to senior members of the Program Offices as well the Missile Defense Agency and NAVSEA pertaining to ship and weapons system modernizationQualifications Required: •US Citizenship with Active Secret Clearance•Master's degree in a STEM Discipline•12+ years of related experience working on DOD or missile defense programs •Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks•Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems•Ability to provide program oversite and recommendations for resolution of complex technical issues to Senior Leadership within the Program office and MDA LeadershipQualifications Desired: •Active TS/SCI Clearance•Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems•Experience with Weapon System Development•Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.
