Animal care technician

Description:
Swine lab facility has an opening for a swine husbandry/technician person. Job duties include assisting lab manager with daily piglet care, feeding, power washing and cage washing, room tear down and setup, general lab cleanliness and pickup-trailer driving. This is an active hands on position. Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs, ability to focus on detail, have a valid (non-commercial is acceptable) drivers license and pass a commercial drivers physical. The position can be either a part-time or full-time opportunity with some weekend obligations. Previous swine husbandry skill/experience beneficial but not required.
