Together, let's create a brighter, more sustainable future. 1st Shift 7:00AM-3:30 PM OR 7:30AM-4:00PM Analytical Lab Chemist with Precious Metals experience preferred (Pay -DOE) Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Set up and conduct chemical experiments, tests, and analysis using specified techniques • Perform wet chemical analysis tests • Fully load and unload high-temperature furnaces with fusion and cupellation samples • Hammering fusion samples • Conduct R&D • Follow QAQC protocol • Operate and maintain instruments/equipment such as ICP, XRay, and Furnace • Data entry and ability to interpret analytical results/data • Assist in maintaining and cleaning of the lab instruments and equipment • Act as a backup when team members are not present Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: • Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) • Experience in wet chemistry and operation of ICP-OES • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Physical Requirements: • Necessity to stand continually through an entire shift • Ability to wear a respirator during parts of the day (this means you must be clean-shaven) Equal Opportunity Employer: Reldan is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, or veteran status.
