Responsibilities include continuously evolve forecasting models, analyze historic results, and make business recommendations to senior management based on those analyses – all in an environment of rapid growth and increasing complexity. This will include working with the Startup Sales leadership to develop, implement and manage the business processes, systems, reports and strategies that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals and initiatives.The Startup Sales Operations Leader will act as a trusted advisor to Startup Sales leaders, leveraging data and analysis to scale the business. Your insights will drive incubation and growth for some of the newest and most innovating offerings in the AWS portfolio. You will drive improvements to the reporting tools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase the availability and granularity of actionable data to their customers. This position also manages the administration and execution of the team’s revenue and non-revenue targets, measurement of goal attainment, and proposing improvements to the Business to increase its effectiveness in driving desired results. This position will be responsible for managing the rhythm of the business activities such as Weekly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics.The responsibilities of this role include hiring and managing a team of high-performing sales operations professionals. The successful candidate must be able to roll-up their sleeves, and work directly with the models/data. They will be passionate about their work, detail-oriented, analytical, and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They will be experienced at working with large data sets and the technical tools needed to work with them. They will have superb communication and customer-relationship skills, outstanding analytic insight, and be a passionate advocate for their customers to other internal stakeholders. Active collaboration with leadership in AWS Business Intelligence, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting, and Compensation will be crucial to the effective execution of the responsibilities. They will drive towards simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, have excellent project-management skills, and be able to communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbally, in a clear and easy-to-understand way.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:New York, NY, USA | San Francisco, CA, USA | Seattle, WA, USA REQUISITOS BÁSICOS- Must have current work experience in World Wide Commercial Sales- 8+ years of experience in a senior leadership role in Sales Operations, Sales Strategy, Finance, Business Development, or other related fields- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field REQUISITOS DESEADOS- Experience hiring and managing high-performing teams.- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of presenting to senior management.- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company.- Strong business-process design experience.- Exhibits sound business judgment, a proven ability to influence others, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results.- Proven experience with the development and implementation of systems/tools utilized for CRM, variable compensation, revenue reporting, forecasting, sales force automation, etc.- Expert level in Excel.- Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role.- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional depth and complexity for this role.AWS values diverse experiences.
