A large company, located in Lorain, Ohio, is seeking an individual to work in their Distribution Center. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Duties: Handle receiving, material handling, inventory control, facility maintenance, safety, shipping, and transportationFollow proper operating procedures and work instructionsSupervise warehouse staffIdentify issues needing additional support and implement best practices and improvementsPerform other duties as needed Job RequirementsQualifications: Must have at least 2 years experience in Receiving/Inventory Control; Shipping internationally and hazardous materialsMust have knowledge of warehouse procedures and Forklift CertificationMust be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookMust have excellent communication, organizational, and math skillsMust be able to pay attention to detailMust have the ability to lift a minimum of 50 poundsMust be safety conscious and able to follow all safety proceduresOnly those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
