Become a Delivery Associate with BlueJacket Delivery LLC No previous related work experience required. Compensation: Starting at $19.00/hr+ DOE, plus overtime and benefits BlueJacket Delivery LLC is an Amazon DSP (Delivery Service Partner) that is owned and operated as a part of the BlueJacket family of companies that has been entrenched in last-mile service excellence in the Reno and Boise areas since May 2019. In addition to our other last-mile delivery, installation, and logistics businesses, BlueJacket Delivery will be expanding operations to deliver items for Amazon in Eastern Idaho. We’re looking for dedicated individuals who are inspired and motivated to work smart and work hard in this team environment. As a (non-dot regulated) delivery associate, you will be the face of our company. It will be your job to consistently exceed customer expectations by making sure all orders are delivered with a smile, on time, safely, and to the right location. Currently, we are looking to fill multiple full-time driver delivery associate positions in Idaho Falls. ***Qualified Applicants are Encouraged to Apply *** Visit our website! Here! Delivery Associates Responsibilities: Keep pace in a physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; load trucks and deliver packages by driving, climbing in and out of the vehicle repeatedly throughout the day, and walking upstairs and through driveways, and deliver packages safely and punctually This position delivers without an assistant and only makes unscheduled deliveries You can plan on working about 4-5 days a week, in up to 11 hour shifts Arrival time for shift is 9:40 AM After 90 days, you may have the opportunity to select a semi-permanent shift schedule out of available openings. Follow strict safety standards on and off the road Solve problems independently using critical thinking skills Have a positive can-do attitude Operate an electronic device for GPS and daily records You will interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner Follow a mapped delivery route, track and report working hours and breaks at appropriate times, adhere to all safety policies, obey all applicable traffic laws, and drive in accordance with all weather and conditions Ability to load and unload packages up to 70 lbs. Communicate effectively with DSP and Amazon support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed timely and accurately Support the team in daily work requirements, including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes We currently have the following available schedules: 1. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 2. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday 3. Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Please let us know which of these options best suits your needs. Our main priority is our associate's safety and training so that they can be safe and make deliveries on time. Be 21 years of age or older with the ability to read and speak English for safety and be legally authorized to work in the United States Have a valid driver's license within the state of employment (a commercial driver’s license (CDL) is not required) Drivers must have a clean driving record (MVR), less than 3 violations in 5 years Be able to operate and navigate a delivery van, weighing 10,000 lbs. or less (you do not need to provide your own vehicle) Be able to lift up to 70 pounds during an 8 to 11-hour work shift entering and exiting the vehicle at least 90 -150 times per day Appropriately handle stressful driving demands including inclement weather conditions Demonstrate strong communication skills What is an Amazon delivery service partner?
