Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Civil Engineering- Experience in airframe structural design for military fighter aircraft- Experience in project schedule development and have ability to generate statements of work and basis-of-estimates- Experience leading a team of engineers, and ability to execute performance assessments and career development of team members- Experience with CATIA V4/V5, and ability to utilize MS Office products Desired Skills: - Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written- Previous experience on F-35 Program. Good working knowledge of Teamcenter products (PDM) and usage on F-35. Knowledge of aircraft design, assembly, and product support- Familiarity with Engineering Bill-of-Materials, Change Management, and all forms of Lockheed Aeronautics Engineering forms and processes- Familiarity with PM-4052 and designer task requirements- Experience and judgement with regard to technical decisions involving Airframe Structural Design Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
