Description and Requirements The Team You Will Join MetLife Data & Analytics organization is the team of expert analysts and technologists responsible for building big data platforms and data services with innovative technologies to enable MetLife businesses to generate insights, and value to its customers. The team is the center of excellence in data architecture, analyst, engineering in MetLife and plays a key role in data enablement through multiple data stores, supporting different kind of analytical use cases to be able to derive predictive, prescriptive, and descriptive insights. The Opportunity The AI Solution Architect will lead the execution of end-to-end data & AI solutions for key insurance business functions such as claims service &operations, customer acquisition, customer engagement & retention, investments, marketing, risk management and underwriting. The role will collaborate with partners from Business, operations, technology and risk management functions to develop scalable and responsible AI data solutions. How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future Consult with business partners, data scientists to understand the business challenges and opportunities. Analyze the data, processes, and workflows to identify where AI can add value. Develop and propose customized AI solutions tailored to business needs. This involve recommending right AI technologies, designing machine learning models and implementation strategies. Developing AI architecture and roadmaps Part of evaluating and choosing right AI tools . Collaborate with data scientists, enterprise architects, and other SME to bring AI solutions to life. Ensure seamless integration of AI models into existing systems or platforms. Developing quick PoC prototypes to showcase the AI capabilities. Detail documentation of the proposed solutions, including architectural diagram, working codes or models, implementation guidelines and pipelines. Communication is key for delivering a successful solution, present compelling proposals, explain complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand language. What You Need to Succeed 10+ years of experience in computer science, data science, engineering or a related field, preferably strong focus on AI. Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models. Familiarity with various AI algorithms and techniques (NLP, NLK, computer vision, cognitive services,) Deep understanding of GenAI, LLMs, prompt engineering, APIs, Open AI, hugging face, computer vision Experience with Cloud technologies, esp. with Azure and Azure DevOps: Possessing a strong grasp of azure AI services, functionalities and how to integrate them into solutions. Strong Analytical Skills Ability to work independently and as part of cross functional team. Passion for AI and its potential to transform businesses. What Can Give You an Edge Ability to collaborate and brainstorm in a team environment. Insurance domain knowledge. Experience working with various vendors, building tier-1 partnerships, establishing user forums, trainings, and roadmap sessions. Strong communication skills to lead interactions with business and technology leaders. Minimum bachelor degree required, master degree preferred.
