Field maintenance mechanics/technicians are respected team members, performing preventative maintenance, adjustments and repairs on our harvesting equipment such as pea harvesters and sweet corn harvesters. What You’ll Get: Competitive wages based on experience Preventative Maintenance Season (November – May): Four 10’s Monday – Thursday Stable work environment with a growing company Schedules to maintain work/life balance Excellent market-leading medical insurance, dental and vision insurance Paid vacation and personal time after 30 days of employment Retirement plan with company match of 50% up to 6% of pay Prescription safety glasses & safety shoe reimbursement Professional Mechanic Career Path Program Paid onsite and offsite training An Employer that works hard to ensure your safety on the job What You’ll Do: Harvest season (June - October) Responsible for the efficient operation of the pea harvesters, sweet corn harvesters, and any other equipment used in our planting and harvesting operations. Serve as a supervisor/mechanic for field operations. Train other field employees in the safe, proper and efficient operation of field equipment. Assist in the planting and harvesting of crops. Preventative Maintenance Season (November – May): Overhaul and repair of machinery and vehicles used in field operations. What You’ll Bring: Prior experience with preventative maintenance, machine adjustments, and harvesting procedures is preferred High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Positive attitude Strong work ethic Safety mindset WELCOME TO PLAINVIEW Located 30 miles from Rochester, 35 miles from Winona and 33 miles from Red Wing, Plainview residents have the best of both worlds—”big city” jobs, amenities in nearby cities… and the comfort and security of “small town living”.
