Hiring immediately for this position.CSG is offering a $2,500.00 Sign-On Bonus for this position. The Sign-On Bonus will be paid after the successful completion of the 6-month initial evaluation period. This position offers: Starting salary $45,000/yr. Salary is negotiable based on relevant experience. An opportunity to work at a site based location with consistent and stable hours. No weekends, holidays, or on-call. Full-Time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday Hours: School Year: 12:45 PM to 8:45 PM. Summer 10:00 AM to 6 PM. The opportunity to provide in-person and telehealth services based on clinical rationale on a case by case basis during the pandemic. Program Information: The Therapeutic After-School Program is designed as a structured treatment program that provides therapeutic activities and determines individual goals and assignments related to skill-building for youth between the ages of 6 to 12 who have a mental health diagnosis. Clients may be referred to the program due to needing improvement in areas such as anger management, coping skills, impulse control, problem solving, self-esteem, self-expression, decision making, emotional regulation, social interaction, and creative expression. Additional therapeutic components may focus on socialization, assistance with homework, community outings, and family outreach.As an Assistant Program Director , you will perform professional staff work assisting in the supervision of a mental health treatment program and location operation at the direction of the program director and in the absence of the program director. You will also: Assist Program Director with general program management. Monitor program and staff compliance to all company policies and procedures and all regulatory standards. Supervise, train, and oversee the performance management of all staff. Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of staff. Develop educational and training materials, present educational materials on various aspects of programs, and provide technical assistance to staff. Ensure the development and implementation of individual program plans and activities. Review financial documentation/billing and perform on-site audits of individuals' funds and petty cash funds. Ensure that location is safe, comfortable and well maintained. Serve as team leader for staff interdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team meetings. Direct and ensure effectiveness of program's daily operations including incident management. Fulfill duties and responsibilities of the Program Director in a temporary acting capacity in the absence of Program Director. Utilize company vehicles to complete daily transportation runs. Assist in the development of data collection methods to report and monitor program activities, analyze data to determine if the activities provided are meeting program goals. Respond to emergency situations and provide leadership. Provide coverage in emergency situations. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Must have one of the following: Be a licensed psychologist, licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) or licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) in PA. Be a licensed social worker (LSW) or a licensed behavior specialist (LBS) in PA and have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum from an accredited college or university or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university. Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from an accredited college or university or an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university. Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field from an accredited college or university or have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university. Must have all of the following: At least 1 year supervision/management experience. Able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs. Have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments. Able to travel to trainings/meetings upon request of the program director. Able to drive passenger vans and accompany individuals into the community and provide support and assistance in interactions in the community while maintaining sensitivity to the rights and dignity of the individual.
