KidzCare Teacher The mission of Wilshire Avenue KidzCare is to reach out to the local community by meeting a basic need for after school childcare. Wilshire Avenue KidzCare is a Christian-based ministry built by Wilshire Avenue Community Church to serve the families of our church and the surrounding area. It is designed to create a fun, nurturing, and loving environment where children can interact safely with each other, learn teamwork, develop social skills and self-confidence, and learn a little more about God. Hours: Monday- Friday: Vary between 12pm- 6pm Possible Extension of hours Requirements: Because we are a Christian organization, we require each employee to sign a statement of faith. Life Scan (Legally Required but will be reimbursed if hired) 6-12 Childhood Development Units or be enrolled in the classes 6 Months work experience with childcare Valid Drivers License Duties: Local Kindergarten and grade school pick ups, driving a 12 passenger van Homework help Help promote a fun, safe environment for both homework and play Compensation: $12/hour If interested, please email a resume and list of childhood development classes. - Leah Figueroa, Program Director
