An Affordable Housing Compliance Manager is needed for our growing property management company. This position provides o versight of preapproval and final approval for all LIHTC and HUD Files. This position will also m anage a team of Compliance Specialists and Compliance Administrators and report directly to the Senior Vice President of Property Management. Come join our growing team! Responsibilities: Manage a team of Compliance Specialists and Compliance Administrator. Oversight of Preapproval and Final Approval for all LIHTC and HUD Files Provide oversight of all File Audits, State Correspondence, and adherence to all federal and state agency requirements. Oversee process with applicant certifications for move-Ins in accordance with regulatory guidelines. Oversee process with residents for Annual Recertification and maintain tracking log for our records. Quality check and approve files completed by Compliance team. Assist with complex calculation of rents for Annual and Interim Recertifications. Exercise common sense, good judgment, consistency, and self-control in day-to-day contact with clients, applicants and in other business-related matters. Maintain superb relationships with residents, State Agencies, Investors/Syndicators, and internal co-workers. Adhere to Fair Housing, Equal Employment and Equal Housing Opportunity requirements. Create/update EXCEL spreadsheets, tracking reports and other documents as requested. Complete data entry and other assigned projects in a timely and accurate manner. Create an annual department operating budget, report actual to budget variances on a quarterly basis, and make recommendations to improve overall profitability of the business unit. Act as EIV Coordinator and ensure all EIV Users are properly set up in Secure Systems to monitor income discrepancies. Qualifications: Knowledge of various subsidy programs (LIHTC, HOME, HUD) is very desirable. Excellent and proven customer skills. A minimum of five-year's experience in Affordable property management Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Experience with OneSite is required, TRACS and EIV are preferred Proficient in utilizing cloud-based systems such as Office 365 suite of software, including EXCEL, Word, Teams, and Zoom very desirable. Professional demeanor with the ability to adapt to last-minute changes. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize to meet deadlines. Coordinate training and Certifications and/or Recertifications of Compliance Specialists
