Bechtel Infrastructure has been appointed as the Delivery Partner, supporting our customer Metrolinx as part of an integrated team, to help deliver the signature Ontario Line Subway (OLS) Project, a transformational transit project for the Greater Toronto Area. The multibillion-dollar project scope includes the design, build, operations and maintenance of all infrastructure and rail systems associated with 15 stations and over 15km of new alignment. The project is being delivered through major Public Private Partnership (P3) contracts, progressive design build (PDB) and design bid build (DBB) contracts, including multiple Early and Advanced works (EAW) contracts. Position Summary The Advance Works Field Specialist for the OLS Project is responsible for monitoring the technical requirements of the work including verifying quantities. They will perform construction engineering assignments of a varied nature requiring a full working knowledge of construction engineering practices, exercise professional judgment within the framework of broad guidelines provided by superiors and may have responsibility to provide direction to less experienced construction engineers, or construction office technical or clerical personnel.
