Utah Retirement Systems (Pension & 401K options) Public Employee Health Plan Medical and Dental Insurance Employer Provided Health Savings Account (HSA) Contributions 12 Paid Annual Holidays Generous leave time (PTO) Company Paid Life, Short & Long Term Disability Insurance Vision Benefits Plan Scheduled Annual Pay Increases 40 hours of Paid Leave Available with First Paycheck Compensation: Fixed Annual Salary: $142,438.40 Essential Functions: (Performs all or some of the following) Assists in the development of specific program plans, policies, and standards of care Participates in ongoing health evaluations Provides in-services for direct care staff on methods of client care Oversees direct care staff in administering prescribed treatments Evaluates, plans, implements, and re-evaluates the care of individuals requiring emergency measures Performs crisis intervention Conducts suicidal evaluation Formulates treatment plans Initiates treatments including prescribing medications Maintains and updates client records See included link for the full job description Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Knowledge of: Psychiatric diagnoses and treatment of psychotropic medications Safety procedures related to medication administration Side effects of various medications Patient counseling processes, techniques, and methods Mental health care facility programs and procedures Ability to: Assess physical, mental, social or economic needs Initiate planning, implementation, and evaluation of mental health programs Recognize allergic reactions and drug interaction Instruct or supervise other nurses Perform under adverse crisis situations Review and/or edit documents for accuracy and completeness Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited college with a master's degree in nursing AND licensed to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Must have a nationally recognized nursing accreditation certification Special Qualifications: Must be licensed as an APRN in the State of Utah Responds to emergencies 24/7 on call Job Posted by ApplicantPro
