The Company: University Care Center is a short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in San Diego, California. We are dedicated to providing personalized rehabilitation and nursing services to all who enter our doors. Our team of highly skilled professional staff will strive to ensure you are reviving the highest quality care available in the skilled nursing and assisted living setting. Our patients take comfort in knowing that we are rated 5 Stars by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services (CMS). Nursing homes are rated from 1-5 stars based on health inspections, staffing, and quality measures. According to CMS, a rating of five stars means that quality is "much above average." Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour Schedule: Sat-Sun (Possible Friday's) Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews referrals, assisting with patients/guardians/advocates interviews to secure all necessary information and paperwork as needed for admitting to the facility Answers phones, inquiries and questions regarding the admissions process Ensures that rooms are ready for incoming patients/residents Welcomes new patients/residents - ensuring a positive experience for all involved Qualifications: Basic knowledge of nursing home and/or business language and technology Admissions SNF experience Computer skills needed to perform clinical documentation and other data entry Ability to multi-task and treat everyone at work kindly and professionally Written, verbal, organizational and time management skills Works collaboratively and independently, following procedures and guidelines Completes tasks on time, reporting on successes, challenges, and offering solutions to problems Medical specialties: Geriatrics Physical setting: Inpatient Long term care Nursing home Rehabilitation center Work Location: One location We are located at: University Care Center - 5602 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92105 Job Posted by ApplicantPro
