RIVER EDGE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH Administrative Assistant POSITION SUMMARY : Reporting directly to the Confidential Secretary of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Administrative Assistant provides exemplary support to River Edge's Community Service Board (CSB) of Directors and River Edge Foundation (REF) Board of Trustees. The Administrative Assistant manages mostly business-related tasks for the team such as creating reports, organizing travel and accommodation, arranging meetings, taking minutes, and other organizational tasks. The Administrative Assistant must be creative and enjoy working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community-oriented. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Coordinate board and committee meetings to include preparing agendas, notifications, accurately record minutes from meetings, maintain statistics, and liaise with Board Directors and Foundation Trustees. Perform clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, and other documents for senior staff, with attention to detail. Perform office tasks including maintaining records, ordering supplies, and performing basic bookkeeping. Maintain the overall quality and integrity of the Foundation donor database, including working with support staff to troubleshoot problems and staying current with system updates. Maintain highly accurate and current donor data that effectively tracks key information, cultivation activities and histories, and solicitation and reporting calendars. Filing and retrieving corporate records, documents, and reports. Greet visitors and direct them appropriately. Arrange travel and accommodation for executive staff. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Confidential Secretary. Perform other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Extraordinarily strong people skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members and trustees, external partners, and donors. Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service. Able to type a minimum of 50 words per minute. Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software. Valid Georgia driver's license. Fully COVID vaccinated. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A bachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferred. At least two (2) years of related experience supporting an executive team, preferably in a non-profit organization. Experience and interest in internal and external communications, partnership development, and fundraising. We at River Edge believe every employee has a right to a safe work environment.
