Seeking applications for a part-time, limited term appointment in film and new media beginning in Fall 2024. The appointment would be for the '24-'25 academic year, with renewal possible on a yearly basis.Requirements: Teach five courses in the academic year, including some combination of: Film Analysis, Film and New Media Production, New Media Theory and Aesthetics, Screenwriting, Film History, Exploring the Documentary, and Mass Communication, depending on expertise and departmental needs. Expected to assist with managing departmental production equipment and potentially student advising, as able. Preferred qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Communication, Film, Digital Media, or related field. Candidates without an advanced degree but with significant professional experience are also encouraged to apply. We encourage applications from a diverse pool of candidates with real-world experience who desire to teach professional skills in a liberal arts context.
