We are looking to bring on a Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our growing team. About the Position: In this crucial role, you will apply your solid experience in Accounts Receivable & Collections to complete the following: Open and accurately maintain client accounts while managing all Accounts Receivable; Create and issue daily sales invoices from the sales orders including distribution, filing, and follow-up with customers as required; Issue credit notes for returns/discounts after checking the validity; Process daily customer deposits including credit card and EFT payments; entering into Net Suite in a timely manner; Reconcile transactions to bank accounts; Manage all aspects of collections including sending out customer statements and follow-up with customers on payments due while maintaining strong customer relations; Maintain the accuracy of customer accounts to ensure accurate company financial statement reporting; Ensure deadlines are met with closing processes for the month, quarter and year-end tasks; Visiting bank to deposit checks received from customers; Attend weekly management meetings to communicate AR & Collections updates; Work with Accounting and Accounts Payable to ensure that books are up-to-date and accurate; Work with Sales team to ensure accurate and timely entry of various credits and discounts.
