Position Summary:The Accounts Receivable specialist is a member of the accounting team reporting to the Controller with additional responsibilities to Staff Accountants. The position will monitor and collect the company's receivables.Expectations: Customer monthly billing will be processed within the first 5 days of the month Processing of credit applications within 7 days of receipt Working with Sales in order to resolve invoicing or billing discrepancies within 7 business days of discrepancy discovery Following up on all returns and processing of credit memos and application of those credit memos on account within 3 business days of return receipt Posting of all payments to the subsidiary ledger daily as received Collection calls for past due receivables within 15 days of past due date Reporting of all Accounts Receivable aging by the 10th of the month for the previous month Daily Remote deposit of all incoming funds Account Reconciliations by the 10th of the month Responsibilities of this role: Responsible for working with sales to bill customers for incoming orders and the resolution of those bills, from payments to collections Monitoring and reconciling customer accounts Processing of credit applications
