Accounts Receivable Specialist

Scope of Responsibility: To perform accounting functions and services accurately and efficiently to ensure Lampire achieves its goal of providing consistent, high-quality products and services to our customers. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Position Requirements: Note: Qualifications are based upon education, resume and/or work experience. 3-5 years minimum of relevant working experience Must have strong math skills and the ability to accurately solve calculations, as well as excellent organizational skills. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Applications and Strong Microsoft Office skills and prior experience with Accounting Software Ability to follow directions Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles Ability to work well as a member of a team or independently Must be detail oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills Must be proficient with Microsoft applications specifically Excel, Word and Outlook. Multiple Accounting and ERP Software experience preferred Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Process customer invoices and payments daily. Distribute customer invoices via email, mail or customer portal as required. Monitor customer aging for accuracy. Partner with internal resources to reconcile and resolve customer issues. Credit processing and evaluation of new customers. Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices. Collect delinquent accounts . Assist with ad hoc projects as requested. Education: Bachelor's/Associate's degree in accounting or similar field, or equivalent experience 3-5 years minimum of relevant working experience Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities. Working Conditions: Conditions inside the office is generally quiet, periodically there may be mid-level noise from various equipment when traveling to other facilities.
