Brookings Health System is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team and be part of the Brookings Health System mission: To provide high quality, compassionate, personalized health care. The Accounts Payable Specialist role is responsible for the accounts payable administration and assisting in the general financial and statistical reporting of Brookings Health System. This is a full time, 40 hour per week, benefit eligible position. Requirements: Knowledge of accounts payable processes and general accounting required; knowledge of financial reports and reporting process preferred; four year accounting degree preferred Computer skills including advanced ability with Microsoft Excel required Knowledge of facility computer system (Meditech Expanse) preferred Strong communication skills including in-person, telephone and written Attention to detail, data entry, problem solving and analytical skills required Maintain confidentiality at all times Strong initiative and ability to manage multiple projects as well as strong follow through skills Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills Ability to complete projects timely and accurately Demonstrates ability to think "outside the box" and embrace change Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment Job Posted by ApplicantPro
