Summary: We currently have an opening for a Accounts Payable Clerk. In this position, you will be responsible for all activities in the accounts payable functions. To maintain accurate records and control reports and ensure timely and accurate processing of all payments and invoices. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Complies with agency policies and procedures Prepares invoices for processing by ensuring a three-way match between invoices, purchase order and Interact with appropriate departments for verification and resolutions of receipt and pricing Ensure proper approval for non-purchase order Maintain vendor accounts and ensure timely and accurate payments. Prepare period end of month closing by reconciling accounts payables to the general ledger.
