Responsabilities Perform payables entries, including invoice validation with purchase orders and delivery notes; Perform bookkeeping and month-end process; Preparation of monthly financial statements, as well as various reports and analyses; Production cost analysis and close collaboration with production; Make payments; Accounting and review of expense accounts; Prepare bank, credit card and other reconciliations; Perform customer invoicing; Prepare tax returns; Participation in year-end audit preparation; Preparation of annual budget and monthly financial forecasts; Follow-up on project costs; Perform any other tasks related to the position. This position is likely to evolve; we're looking for someone who can become an assistant controller in the coming years. Education and experience Minimum of five to ten years' experience in accounting, experience in the manufacturing sector is an asset; DEC in accounting. Skills Excellent communication skills, ability to establish and maintain harmonious and effective interpersonal relations; Thoroughness and attention to detail; Proactive; Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel; Good teamwork and organizational skills; Excellent French and English language skills. The successful candidate will be required to interact on a regular basis with contacts outside Quebec.
