These are just a few of the advantages of working for this dynamic company. We are seeking qualified candidates for an Accounting Supervisor, Mexico role at our corporate location in Glen Allen, VA. Responsibilities include Month/Quarter/Year-End Closing activities/tasks including inventory, tax controls processes, and internal and external audit requirements for our Mexico City operation. This position is a hybrid role with 2 days remote and 3 days on-site.Duties of the position include:Monitoring and follow up of accounting control processes as an independent validation. Utilizing public accounting experience and making continuous improvement enhancements based on feedback from Internal and External Audits. Work with various stakeholders to enhance controls executed by stake owners.Review month-end close JEs and confirm completeness of Close, including inventory and tax.Review monthly account reconciliations as assigned by Controller.Coordinate the requirements of the internal & external Audits.The ideal candidate for this position will have:Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar discipline; CPA preferred5 - 10 years of accounting experienceAudit experience requiredUS GAAP or IFRS exposure helpfulAdvanced PC related skills (Excel and Word proficiency required)Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) requiredOur employees enjoy working in a tobacco-free and drug-free environment.
