Position Description: The credit union is seeking an Accounting Operations Specialist to join our team! As the credit union's Accounting Operations Specialist, you will help support department initiatives that help the credit union offer more products and services to the members that we serve. Working closely with the management roles of our credit union, this role is integral to streamlining and helping to automate back-office credit union accounting and operations functions! The successful candidate will: Enjoy working in an office environment (task-based). Have positive attitude and desire to learn new systems and applications. Have a willingness to accept ownership of a diverse range of duties including: Data Entry Reconciliation Accounts Payable Wire Transfers Bill Payment ACH Monitoring Research Reporting Under the supervision of a member of our management team, the Accounting Operations Specialist assists the Accounting Department of the credit union. This role would give the candidate valuable credit union experience through performing tasks in a variety of different systems that impact our membership as a whole every day.
