We will also provide training on the programs, products, systems, as well as a company issued laptop to help you be successful. Job Summary Ion Lighting Distribution Inc. Accounting Manager, builds financial strategies and reports to help Ion Lighting Distribution Inc. improve their financial health and meet long-term goals. The main duties include supervising and managing the accounting department, creating financial forecasts, and overseeing all areas of financial reporting. Accounting Manager Responsibilities: Reports to the President of Ion Lighting Distribution Inc. Manages the accounting staff who are responsible for financial reporting, billing, invoicing, collections, and cost control Manage monthly close and reconciliation process Follow and comply with GAAP Manage the annual insurance audit and corporate tax preparation processes Develop and monitor KPIs and monthly sales reporting Collaborate with the sales and leadership teams to provide timely information to drive change and process improvement Prepare account reconciliations and financial analysis Investigate and analyze balance sheet transactions for accuracy Maintain accounting controls Finance Manager Qualifications/Requirements: Positive attitude, self-motivated, accountable, and strong critical thinking/problem solving skills Growth mindset with the ability to perform with P assion, P ersistence, I ntegrity, and G rit Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related area Minimum 3 years' experience in relevant field (accounting, financial services, banking, or compliance) Flexible schedule, reliable transportation High level of attention to detail with effective and professional written/oral communication Experience with Epicor software is a plus
