Will need to begin employment no later than July 22, 2024. Fair days run Tuesday – Sunday and hours are normally 12:00pm- 9:00pm. Training will take place two weeks prior to the start of the fair between the hours of 9:00am-4:00pm. Salary Statement : The salary for this position is $16.00/hr. What You'll Need for Success: To be considered for this position, you must be enrolled currently in an accredited college or university, majoring in Accounting, AND have completed at least two years (2) years of college-level education credits Must have a flexible schedule and be prepared to work weekends, early mornings, or late nights especially Aug 2-Aug 18 Demonstrate people and management skills Demonstrate ability to thrive in a challenging and fun environment with many unknowns and changing objectives Detail-oriented Demonstrate project management skills to develop and execute multiple projects simultaneously to meet overlapping deadlines Demonstrate above average organizational/problem-solving/decision-making skills Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills Demonstrate ability to proactively identify issues/develop solutions/implement resolutions Demonstrate creative and strategic thinking Must have the passion of a self-starter and quick learner Demonstrate ability to work independently Must be able to work outside Benefits of Employment with the State of Indiana: This seasonal position does not offer benefits and is limited to 180 working days in an eleven (11) month continuous period Equal Employment Opportunity: The State of Indiana is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to recruiting, selecting, developing, and promoting employees based on individual ability and job performance.
