This is an exciting career opportunity for an Accounting Bookkeeper with previous experience in the position. The emphasis for this position will be on all aspects of general bookkeeping including financial transactions, manage Accounts payable, record sales & payments, generate payroll, reconcile bank accounts at the end of month and monthy reporting. JOB TITLE: Accounting Bookkeeper LOCATION: 134 Kennedy Road South, Brampton, Ontario L6W 3G4 Canada. NUMBER OF OPEN POSITIONS: 1 JOB TYPE: Regular TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible SALARY: $26.50 per Hour HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 30 to 35 hours/Week WORK SETTING: Office LANGUAGE: English JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Maintain accurate financial records while adhering to bookkeeping principles and standards. • Maintain the company's general ledger which involves posting journal entries, researching discrepancies, reconciling accounts, and ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and classified. • Prepare financial and accounting reports to provide important information about the company's financial performance and help management make informed decisions. • Calculate and Process payroll by deducting taxes and other withholdings, and issue payroll details. • Calculate the amount of taxes owed by the company, based on its income, expenses, and other financial data by using software. • Prepare tax returns, complete documentation and ensure that.
