Summary of Responsibilities: Reporting to the file managers and accountants, responsibilities and essential job functionsinclude the following: Responsibilities of the entry-levelaccountant are:  Maintaining records of assets and liabilities Updating accounts payable Assisting in balancing sheets and income statements Preparing regular reports Assisting with other accounting-related duties Lists some of the daily tasks of an accounting clerk, which is usually an entry-level accountingposition, such as:  Verifying the accuracy of invoices Updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers, and records Data entry for accounting activities Reconciliation of records for employees and vendors Investigating data inconsistencies Experience and specialization public accounting, use of caseware, and other accountingsoftware.  Work conditions and physical capabilities Attention to detail Fast-paced environment Handling heavy work loads Repetitive tasks Work under pressure Personal suitability Organized Reliability Team player Name of position: Accounting Assistance (NOC 14200)Type: Full-Time, Permanent position (40 hours a week)Shift: Daytime, Monday to Friday Wage: $22.40 per hour Start Date of the Employment: As soon as possible Positions Available: 1Language: English Location: Vancouver, BCEducation: Bachelor's Degree Experience: 2 years plus Work setting: office.
