Job Summary: Performs a variety of professional accounting work under close supervision. Completes the accounting functions assigned on an accurate and timely basis in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and consistent with objectives and policies established by the accounting department.This position works onsite. Job Responsibilities: Processes and posts sales invoices and payments daily Tracks company assets by maintaining and updating an asset book Prepares sales and use tax on a quarterly basis Prepares monthly sales and commission reports Prepares monthly depreciation schedule Calls and collects on past-due accounts Resolves disputes with customers Assists in the preparation of information for audits conducted by external auditors Files accounting-related documents and ensures all information is safely stored and available on short notice Additional Responsibilities: Assists with accounts payable and general ledgers Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Concentration in Accounting 0-2 years of experience General knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures Strong attention to detail and good communication skills Good computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
