Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role will be responsible for processing invoices, monitoring accounts receivable aging, and assisting with collections activities. Responsibilities: Process accounts receivable transactions including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling customer accounts. Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely collections. Communicate with customers to resolve billing discrepancies and answer inquiries regarding invoices and payments. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to accounts receivable transactions. Assist with month-end close processes and provide support for audits as needed. Collaborate with other departments to address customer issues and improve billing processes. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree in accounting or related field preferred. Proven experience working in accounts receivable or related financial roles. Strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in relevant accounting software (e.g., MS Nav/Dynamics, QuickBooks, SAP). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a deadline-driven environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Experience with collections activities and knowledge of credit policies and procedures is a plus.
