Account Manager required for a highly regarded and well established travel brand. This is an excellent and rare opportunity for an experienced Account Manager / Business Development Manager with excellent stakeholder management skills gained from working with key clients within the travel and tourism or hospitality industry. Home office based in the South West of England with visits to your accounts in and around Somerset, Devon, Dorset and Cornwall during the month too. Excellent basic salary, company car, 10 personal bonus plus additional incentives to top up your income, plus other great benefits including working normal operational hours of Monday : Friday. A brief insight in to what youll be doing as Travel and Tourism Account Manager: You will develop and enhance the performance of your accounts, whether this is through making sure theyre being presented in the right way, that they are being promoted correctly and marketing them efficiently, which youll do by working with a range of internal stakeholders. You will provide mentorship, training and guidance to the travel sales agents representing your clients within your region as ultimately you will have accountability for the performance of their accounts. Youll be encouraged to use your creativity to get the best results, so this role presents that amazing mix of creativity and commerciality, where you will see how your ideas make a real difference to the companys metrics, which youll demonstrate to the wider business through weekly, monthly and quarterly reports. Youll know exactly how your accounts are performing and be responsible for your account portfolio revenue, retention, growth and re: contracting of your portfolio of accounts.
