Account Manager Overview Looking for someone with extensive knowledge and experience in working with the U.S. Federal Government. In this role, the Account Manager will report to the Director of Sales and Business Development and work closely with senior strategists and business analysts to identify, assess, and pursue profitable opportunities Main Points Onsite 2-3 days a week Local Travel to clients required. Office Located in Columbia, MD Salary can range from 60k-110K Responsibilities: Foster and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for clients. Facilitate engagements to understand and gather customer requirements to tailor solutions that align with their business objectives. Lead discussions with potential clients to define the scope and ensure successful implementation and delivery. Create and implement account plans to achieve short and long-term revenue objectives. Attend industry events, gathering intelligence on customer needs, and provide pipeline reporting to C-level staff Grow and qualify the opportunity pipeline by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities. Contribute or lead proposal responses, including storyboarding and win strategy development. Understand customer business problems and demonstrate how to solve them using Sealing Tech's solutions. Facilities efforts to Gather customer requirements and transform the information into efficient and effective solutions utilizing products and partner solutions. Able to travel (50%) Skills: 5+ years of successful DoD sales with expertise in at least one major DoD component (Army, Navy, Air Force). Problem solving and attention to detail Ability to demonstrate strong collaboration and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions within and outside of the organization Planning and organizing Thorough oral, written, and interpersonal skills Teamwork Proficient in learning and using various government and government related portal and tools Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Work environment is in the primarily in the office.
