Act on behalf of the Contractor’s management as an onsite representative for the solution of security problems and for the efficient functioning of the security personnel in general Maintain all records for corporate security guard operations Complete monthly, annual and KPI and special reports and submit to the City’s Corporate Security team as required Supervise mobile security supervisors and personnel Act as the main security contact for City employees, follow City directions and respond to City requests in a timely manner Perform quality assurance for all Security Guards to ensure conformance with PSISA standards such as presence of a valid license and proper uniform Orient all Security Guards working at City sites Mentor, motivate, coach and train all new and existing Security Guards Instill and reinforce critical values and practices in guards Direct and oversee all aspects of shift operations Remain calm, follow procedure, support and direct the work of others during a crisis Assist Security Guards in resolving administrative issues where necessary (pay cheque inquiries/corrections, uniform supply) Act on behalf of the Contractor’s management Human Resource department to provide progressive discipline to Security Guards Be responsible for duty of care for criminal investigations and for supporting police investigations in whatever manner required.
