Cerami & Associates, Inc ("Cerami") is the largest premier acoustic design and technology consulting company in the U.S. Cerami is based in NYC and is part of Trinity Consultants' global family of firms focused on engineering and environmental disciplines. We are looking for a talented Account Development Manager to join our 95-person team and be a participant in a new sales function for the company. Primary Role This Account Development Manager will focus on generating new clients for Cerami. In this position, you will solicit and create business opportunities by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential clients. The SDR will create and manage prospects through the entire sales process. We are looking for someone who has several years of sales experience, excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a proven record of success in sales. Responsibilities: Identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities for the company Contact and qualify potential clients (such as Architects, Developers, Enterprises) Follow up on leads, nurture relationships, network, set up client and other appointments Use CRM (customer relationship management) software to manage leads and sales activities Track progress towards meeting sales goals Attend networking events and /or trade shows to build relationships and generate leads Continuous research on market trends, competition, and industry developments Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management. Requirements and skills: Knowledge of sales processes, methods, techniques and strategies Experience with MSFT Word, PPT, Excel and use of CRM software Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills (including presentations) Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients Time management and organizational experience Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and adaptability to a changing environment A strong desire for achievement and advancement. Experience with and/or selling professional services a plus Successful candidate must be willing to relocate. Education & Experience 4-year bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience Salary $65,000-$85,000 plus commission Cerami offers a competitive base salary and commission/bonus plan.
