Responsibilities: The Account Analyst will support Barrow Wise's GSA ETS Project and perform the following duties: Examine financial systems and accounting records to verify the accuracy and completeness of accounting data and adequacy of supporting data Summarize transactions and prepare control documents, or other posting documents reflecting the entries to be made to front end business applications Maintain accounting records; enter accounting data into systems Determine the general ledger accounts, journals, and subsidiary accounts affected and the debit and credit entries to be made Summarize transactions and prepare control documents or other posting documents reflecting the entries to be made Reconcile accounts comparing account balances with related data to ensure agreement Close accounts, prepare balance sheets and financial statements Research payment status of vendor invoices Research customer billings Prepare financial spreadsheets Prepare financial documents for Records Management disposition Prepare Excel spreadsheets detailing billings and invoices paid from data retrieved from automated financial systems Collect, verify, update and maintain reporting data using various government databases and reporting systems Verify vendor invoices Process invoices into TOPS, TIM, Pegasys, VITAP, Business Objects Research financial systems: TOPS, TIM, Pegasys, VITAP, Business Objects to respond to external and internal queries Performs other duties as assigned An Ideal Candidate has: US Citizenship Public Trust Clearance Bachelor's Degree in a related field 5 years of ETS invoicing experience Barrow Wise Consulting, LLC offers an ethical, challenging, diverse, and rewarding experience.
