Tutor Hub 101 is seeking talented, experienced Tutors in Math, Science, English, Spanish, History and ACT/SAT Prep for students between grades 4 and 12. We are passionate tutors that aim to instill a growth mindset in our students, and we expect our new hires to do the same. If you are interested in a job that will give you flexibility and job satisfaction, please submit an application. Ideal candidates: motivated college students, retired teachers, or anyone that loves teaching. Responsibilities: - Meet with students at the tutoring center. - Investigate and identify student's learning style, obstacles that lie on the path to their academic success, current status/grades, homework assignments, upcoming tests and quizzes, and topics being covered. - Build a rapport with students. - Keep students focused on task at hand. - Employ Tutor Hub 101's proven study aides to prepare for upcoming tests and quizzes. - Maintain student's Session Log by updating notes every session. - Communicate issues/status with the Center Director and strategize a plan to achieve student's goals. - Help to build up student's confidence through teaching and inspiring. - Occasionally help with marketing tasks. Skills: - Enrolled college student or graduated. - 1+ years experience is preferred. - Ability to pass a background check. - Reliable transportation a must - Excellent communication skills - Established proficiency in subject matter
