Job Title: A/P Clerk Department: Finance Reports to: Manager Company: D&D Ingredients, LLC Location: Delphos, OH Employment Category: Full Time FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.50 SUMMARY The A/P Clerk is responsible to process a high volume of vendor invoices on a daily basis, respond to vendor inquiries in an efficient and effective manner and generate payments. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Essential duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to: Process and match vendor invoices and statements; verify accuracy of information Code invoices using chart of accounts and various organizational levels Analyze data and draw logical conclusions Route invoices to appropriate personnel for approval as needed while handling a high volume of invoices and payments to vendors in a timely manner as approved by the treasury manager Research accounts to resolve discrepancies with vendors Assist with preparation and maintenance of various reports in Excel and Great Plains Assist vendors as needed, in person and over the telephone Perform procedures in an organized, accurate and timely manner Check and tabulate data Perform various routine clerical duties such as typing and filing Additional duties as assigned ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Special projects and/or other duties as assigned REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate or equivalent; college degree desirable Three (3) years’ experience processing A/P Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Great Plains and Axon experience a plus Ability to operate a computer, calculator, and other common office equipment Principles and practices of customer service COMPETENCIES: Attendance Attendance is essential in demonstrating dependability. A reliable team member is on time for all scheduled shifts and is present as scheduled. Any team member with two or more active steps of discipline for attendance does not meet expectations of position. Performance Demonstrates the skills and abilities to perform his or her job. Any team member with two or more active steps of discipline for any combination of disciplinary actions does not meet expectations of position. Safety Good judgement is demonstrated at all times to maintain a safe work environment. Any team member with two or more active steps of discipline for safety related incidents does not meet expectations of position. Training Current training is an indication of job preparedness from a safety, job skills, and food safety perspective. An employee that has completed all training expectations throughout the year as it pertains to his or her job requirements demonstrates that he or she meets the expectations of his or her position. A person that has past due trainings does not meet the expectations of his or her position. PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing. Occasional lifting, and or moving up to 40 pounds. Constant use of overall vision and hearing abilities; frequent detail, reading and close up work. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a typical temperature controlled office environment subject to typical office noise. Defined on site work schedule.
