Job Summary Assumption School (St. Louis) is seeking a full-time 7th and 8th grade English Language Arts teacher beginning in the 2024-25 school year. Candidates should be Catholic and uphold the mission of the Church and Assumption School. Candidates should be certified to teach English Language Arts and demonstrate experience in or knowledge of lesson planning, standards-based grading, classroom management, active learning strategies, and meeting the needs of an academically diverse student population. Candidates should be familiar with middle school literature and able to teach a variety of writing styles and the process of writing a research paper.
