Position: Math Teacher - 6th Grade Reports to: Assistant Principal Salary Range: AAJP-2023-24_Teacher_Salary_Schedule_portrait.pdf (athlosjp.org) *Highest certified pay in the state* Minimum Qualifications Required: Education: Minimum bachelor's degree or enrolled in a teaching program. Experience Required: Teaching experience preferred, but not required. Certification Required: Valid Louisiana teaching certificate preferred; if not, enrollment in alternate certification required. Communicates with parent/guardians and the community in a professional manner. Participates in regular professional development. Communicates regularly with school leadership and other faculty to maximize effective instructional activities. Participates in the school's professional learning community to enhance learning objectives. Meets professional obligations by honoring schedules and deadlines. Other assigned duties.
