Job Purpose Dana Incorporated is seeking to fill a 2024 Fall Cybersecurity Engineering Intern position at their Novi Tech Center located in Novi, MI. This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills by working alongside Dana's engineers in the completion of departmental oriented tasks/assignments. The Product Cybersecurity group is responsible for the development of Dana's embedded systems cybersecurity processes and platform solution to present in our control system solutions. Job Duties and Responsibilities • Review Dana's security standards and identify any gaps in security mechanisms • Perform Threat Analysis & Risk Assessment for project teams • Support cybersecurity solution design and development • Conduct vulnerability assessments and support the investigation of vulnerability reporting • Assist in developing and updating incident response playbooks Requirements • Enrollment and active pursuit of a Bachelor or Mater of Science in Engineering or Engineering specific majors: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. • Cybersecurity relevant experience (e.g., cybersecurity coursework, cybersecurity project, cybersecurity working experience) in any of the following areas preferred: security operations, SW security, HW security, systems security, security architecture, network security, communication security, cryptography, etc. • Self-directed & motivated individual with great organizational skills • Full time availability • Good oral and written communication skills • Must be able to interface in a team environment We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
